Afrobeats sensation and newlywed, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has stated that marrying an Igbo woman comes with its challenges.
Afric Showbiz Post reports that on Tuesday, Davido tied the knot with his wife, Chioma Rowland, an Igbo lady from Imo State.
The singer spoke via music executive Ubi Franklin’s Instagram live session shortly after his wedding.
He, however, did not reveal the reason for his claim.
“E no easy. E no easy to marry Igbo woman. Igbo woman, e no easy,” he stated.
During the wedding, Davido promised Chioma’s parents that their daughter would be safeguarded and honored in their marriage.
The ‘Assurance’ crooner said he promised her “a lifetime assurance.”
