Wunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has taken to social media to appeal to her late husband amid concerns about a potential cover-up of his autopsy report.
According to a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, the toxicology test conducted on the late music star during the Coroner’s inquest could not determine the cause of death. The pathologist stated in court that the singer’s body had decomposed by the time the test was performed.
He said: “According to him, the cause of death cannot be determined.
“He gave a lot of reasons. He said by the time they conducted the test, the body had decomposed and that it is not possible for them to determine the cause of death.
So the summary he is saying is that the cause of death cannot be ascertained and when you say the cause of death cannot be ascertained, it means it is suspicious, it is not clear, no particular reason.”
Shittu mentioned that the pathologist indicated the cause of death might be linked to a reaction to specific drugs given to him before he passed away. Following the inquest and test results, Wunmi posted a photo of Mohbad on her social media page on Wednesday night with the caption ‘Ilerioluwa masun’, meaning ‘Ilerioluwa do not sleep’.
