Pageant Organizers Forum Akwa Ibom State Concludes Election

On Tuesday, 27th August 2024, the atmosphere at Discovery Park was electric as pageant organizers from across the three senatorial districts of Akwa Ibom State gathered for the much-anticipated election of the Pageant Organizers Forum.

The event kicked off at 2:30 PM, bringing together enthusiastic members ready to cast their votes for the new leadership of the forum.

Call for Unity and Participation

Before the election commenced, Princess Ekamma Henry, the president emeritus, addressed the gathering. She urged fellow pageant organizers to exercise their voting rights in a spirit of peace and unity. Princess Henry emphasized the importance of accepting the election’s outcome, as determined by the Electoral Board Committee.

She highlighted:

The need for unity among members.

The importance of active participation in the forum’s activities.

A reminder that the industry belongs to all of them, and they must advocate for its growth.

The results were announced by Mr. Samuel John, the Chairman of the Electoral Board Committee. Here are the final vote counts:
