Shettima emphasized that eliminating the fuel subsidy and uniting exchange rates were difficult yet crucial steps needed to save Nigeria from economic turmoil.

The Vice-President pledged that Nigeria would collaborate closely with the UN to tackle the nation’s difficulties.

He assured the UN delegation that Nigeria would align itself with the global organization.
