Afrobeats sensation Wizkid has sparked controversy with his recent mysterious social media post just before his colleague Davido’s wedding to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
Afric Showbiz recently stated that Davido confirmed his upcoming wedding with Chioma on June 25 in Lagos, despite facing allegations of infidelity. The DWW boss also shared pre-wedding photos with Chioma on social media last Sunday.
Wizkid’s tweet “Lol” right after Davido’s pre-wedding photos sparked excitement among fans.
Wizkid seemingly threw shade at Davido on Monday morning with a cryptic post on his social media handle.
In the post, Wizkid mentioned, “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”
The response to his post was varied, with some suggesting that he was indirectly criticizing Chioma, Davido’s soon-to-be wife, who has stood by him through cheating rumors.
Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mama, stated recently that she and the singer reignited their relationship from 2020 to 2022, coinciding with the time Davido was also dating Chioma.
